UV-2910DC

UV/LED cure dual-cure cationic epoxy

Lower-viscosity dual-cure UV epoxy for fixturing and assembly

UV-2910DC is a dual-cure light cure epoxy. UV pre-activation gives a 45 to 60 second open time for part placement; final cure follows at room temperature or accelerates with mild heat (30 minutes at 60°C). Low shrinkage and outgassing make it suited to bonding optics, fibers, lenses, prisms, connectors, and electronic components.

In plain English

UV-2910DC provides about one minute of post-exposure placement time for optics, connectors, and small electronic parts.

Product fit

Why buyers choose this grade

More time to place parts

It gives operators about 45 to 60 seconds of open time for alignment after pre-activation.

Cleaner for sensitive builds

Low shrinkage and low outgassing help when movement, fogging, or contamination are a concern.

Flexible final cure

You can let it finish at room temperature or accelerate the cure with 30 minutes at 60°C.

Good fit for

  • Optics, prisms, lenses, and fibers that need placement time after light exposure
  • Connector and small-part assembly where low shrinkage and low outgassing matter
  • Processes that can finish cure at room temperature or speed it up with mild heat

Things to confirm first

  • Plan for a secondary cure stage after assembly; UV light alone is the fixture step, not the whole story.
  • The lower-viscosity flow is useful for wetting, but it needs a joint that can physically hold the adhesive in place.
